Professor Mahira Huseynova, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Asian International University of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The honorary professor diploma was presented to Ms. Mahira Huseynova by the rector of the Asian International University, Sukhrob Dekhkanov.

As part of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was also signed between the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and the Asian International University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which envisages the expansion of bilateral relations.

It should be noted that Professor Mahira Huseynova and the Head of the Department of Modern Azerbaijani Language, Prof. Konul Samadova, delivered extensive reports at the international conference held at the Asian International University on May 22-23.
